Dr. Manisha Seth is an Associate Professor in the HR & OB Area at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. A dedicated academician, accomplished trainer, and passionate researcher, she brings over 26 years of rich experience spanning industry and academia. She earned her Doctorate in Technostress and Coping Strategies from the Department of Psychology at the University of Lucknow (2005). A position holder in her PGDBA batch from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, she has been associated with the institute for the past twenty-one years, contributing significantly to management teaching, research, executive training, consulting and institutional leadership. Besides teaching Organizational Behaviour and People Management, she offers courses at postgraduate and doctoral levels including Emotional Intelligence, Performance Management Systems, Competency Mapping & Assessment Centres, Leadership & Team Building and Organisational Change & Development. Her areas of expertise in consulting, training, and teaching include Competency Mapping, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership and Team Building, and Technostress. Her research interests include technostress, stress and well-being, motivation of health workers, high-performance HR systems, ethical leadership, competency mapping, and soft skills. A certified trainer in DiSC Profiling by Wiley and Psychometric Testing), she has also completed certifications in Emotional Intelligence, Managing Change in Organizations, and Psychology of Stress, Health & Wellbeing (NPTEL). A highly experienced trainer, Dr. Seth has coordinated and delivered more than 250 executive and academic training programs for bankers, corporate executives, judges, government officers, and academicians from reputed organizations including NABARD, BIRD, Indian Bank, UPMRC, Power Grid, Airports Authority of India and Indian Revenue Services, among others. Her training domains encompass self-awareness, emotional intelligence, leadership, team building, transactional analysis, ethics & values, competency mapping, conflict management, negotiation, change management, teaching effectiveness, and train-the-trainer programs. Her consulting interests focus on competency mapping and the design and implementation of Assessment and Development Centres.
